Jogging track
Most jogging briefs are a path around a pitch, a podium or a campus - not eight lanes and a steeplechase pit. We still survey falls and outlets first. A loop that ponds is unusable after the first monsoon, whatever colour it was poured.

Not an athletics oval
No lane certification, no D-zones, no pretence that a morning loop is a ProLane stadium track.

Width for two-way use
1.2 m is a single file. 2–2.5 m lets people pass. We set that from who actually uses it.

Spray-coat when the brief is a permeable daily path. Sandwich when walkers and joggers want more cushion.
